Elizabeth City State University
ECSU is a Historically Black University (HBCU) located in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.

Center of Excellence in Remote Sensing Education and Research (CERSER)
The intent of this project to develop an innovative and relevant research collaboration focused on coastal, ocean, and marine research.

NIA
NIA is the central starting point for several projects at Elizabeth City State University including: NASA, ONR, CERSER, NOAA, IEEE-GRSS, ECSU, CReSIS, and RS Explorers.

Undergraduate Research Experience in Ocean and Marine Science/GRID (URE-OMS/GRID)
The URE OMS/GRID program objective is to promote the professional development of minority undergraduate students through their participation in ocean, marine and space science research. The program consists of twenty undergraduates. Each student is assigned to a specific research team, where he/she will work closely with the faculty. In addition, seminars, lunch meetings, and social functions are organized to facilitate undergraduate interaction. The project will be conducted for eight weeks during summer 2007, with on-line mentoring and follow-up during academic year 2007-08.

An extremely powerful, scaleable software and a feature-rich wiki implementation, that uses PHP to process and display data stored in its MySQL database.
