Professional Statement

I am a freshman at Elizabeth City State University. My academic goal is to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. In addition to my academic goal I desire to partake in research internships; this will benefit my professional development and increase my academic knowledge. Currently I am a participant in the Undergraduate Research Experience (URE) Program. This program is designed to develop my professional skills and expand my knowledge in the fields of Computer Science and Remote Sensing. During my academic career I will strive to receive a 4.0 grade point average. I also desire to attend conferences and workshops to stay current on new developments and research in my chosen field. Upon completion of the Bachelors of Science degree I will further my education by entering graduate school. There I will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the field of Computer Science by graduating with my masters.
